"Ujorii" is a blend of both "Ujima" and "Satori", meaning collective work, responsibility and understanding. I believe that as a society, it is our duty to cultivate our present and future as a collective. My work is reflective of the emotions of humanity. Each pigment, texture and element used are meant for viewers to gain a sensory experience. I experiment through different mediums and styles with a focus on empowering and uplifting women. My abstract and representational works of art embrace nostalgic themes of adolescence, Black Womanhood and shared human experiences.
